Luis Gomez Merino

Luis Gomez Merino is a bilingual (Spanish) Communications Specialist for WJ Consulting. Luis has more than a decade of experience in interpreting and implementing statewide communication strategies to support school districts. Focused on clear communication and inclusiveness, Luis’s goal is to aid individuals with language barriers and to promote diversity and inclusion by recognizing a wide range of cultural backgrounds.

Luis’s experience stems from working within school districts providing collaborative support to students, teachers and administrators as well as high-level district support to inner-city Title 1 high schools. He is highly skilled at working with children whose ages range from 4 years old to young adults ages 18 to 21.

Luis has supported schools in providing day-by-day verbal and written communication support and is skilled at crisis management with non-English speakers. Luis believes in providing opportunities and connections to all ethnic groups despite an individual’s background or limitations.
